Diverse Product List
We offer a diverse list of products to customers in the agricultural, biotechnology, chemical, pharmaceutical and other industries.
Among the products we deal in are branded crop protection products, diverse crop protection chemicals, industrial and specialty chemicals and a number of reagents for peptide synthesis.
Our products are produced at our own advanced facilities and sourced from major global manufacturers with whom we have solid business alliances.
Strong Business Relationships
We have engaged in the dynamic global chemical trade since the company's earliest days.
Our broad connections and strong business relationships with leading worldwide chemical industries enable us to produce, source and supply customers at the highest levels. On the international market we hold a strong position in the supply of unique sought after products with significant added value, such as our coupling reagents for peptide synthesis. We hold a commanding position, particularly in crop protection products, in the very demanding Israeli market.
Advanced Production Facilities
Our main plant is located near Arad not far from the Dead Sea. The plant synthesizes products based on our in-house developed processes and know-how agreements with leading international producers. The production plant is
ISO 9001:2000 certified.
Production is executed in a carefully controlled, computerized setting to assure the high quality of our products and to protect the safety of our workers and the environment.
Another Luxembourg site, also located in the southern part of the country, is designated for additional production facilities.
In addition, we have a cooperative project with the Dead Sea Bromine Compound Co. of Israel for the manufacture of intermediates for pharmaceuticals.
Research & Development
Our in-house R&D team maintains close professional connections with international academic institutions and with Israel's distinguished research community, such as the Weizmann Institute of Science, the Volcani Agricultural Research Institute, and others.
One example in chemistry involves the synthesis of complex peptide sequences employing our in-house developed, novel coupling reagents and additives, such as HCTU, TCTU and 6-C1-HOBt. These peptides are used in the production of several innovative biotechnology-based pharmaceuticals.
Dr. Yuval Benyamini, our Crop Protection Research and Development Manager, leads our agricultural R&D activities. First phase studies are carried out with several universities and the Volcani Agriculture Research Institute. Further phases are performed with our own agronomists and biologists, specialists from the Ministry of Agriculture and growers. The data generated from field trials supports product registrations and provides the main product label instructions.
Dr. Benyamini serves as Chairman of the Israel Weed Science Society.
